The beg. on November John and I drove down to Downtown Disney in Anaheim. WE wanted to do a little shopping and then have dinner at Rainforest Cafe! We stopped by my first job, Build-A-Bear and made Avarey a monkey...of course she doesn't get to play with her till Christmas but she did get to help Stuff, Fluff, and Dress her!

So Life has been uber busy with the new job, everyone being sicky, and the Holidays. By the Holidays I mean from Halloween till the Christmas Season. I've gotten 2 months behind in my posts and the thought of catching up was daunting. But I finally got my sick princess to take a nap so here I go! This first post is Halloween!

Halloween was soooo much fun. Avarey loved playing with the messy pumpkins. She might have tasted a little in the process! John and I love carving so We went to town and I believe our pumpkins turned out great! Of course John did his by hand and I just traced! I'm not the artist John is! He really is amazing! John and I took Avarey to a couple of houses on our street and she may not have gotten the whole trick or treating idea...she did get that she was outside at night. She Did amazing. She loved looking at all the other little kids! We dressed her up as pebbles. Of course I had to put tights and a long sleeve underneath her costume...but she still looked cute. I can't wait till next year when she understands a little more!!

So usually I'm pretty darn good at keeping up with this blog...this past month however has been more than a challenge, physically and mentally. I finally went back to work Nov 2nd and It has been a blessing in disguise. Of course I was really dreading leaving the princess but I only work 4 hours a day 7:15- 11 am (which is perfect hours). I'm working at Great Oak High School in Temecula and I LOVE IT! The school is beautiful, the staff is friendly and I already feel like I fit right in. My sister's best friends mom is watching Av in the morning and she is amazing! Lisa, you were God Sent...Avarey and I love you!! Av really is doing amazing with mommy back at work...no tantrums...so far!

A few weeks ago (like a week before I started back at work) John and I found out that I was pregnant. Of course I had mixed feelings about having another baby so soon with Av not even a year yet. WE didn't tell anyone...so If you are reading this now and are totally surprised I'm sorry. I didn't even tell my mom or Jen. I'm glad that I didn't. My first week back at work, I started bleeding and I eventually had a miscarriage that Friday. Again I haven't told anyone about any of this of except of course for My Family and Jen (which is also family). I made two Emergency Room Visits that week which ended in me being admitted into Labor and Delivery for a D&C. The doctor Feared that I was going to hemorrhage if I tried to let it happen naturally. So I was put to sleep for the first time and rolled into the OR around 10 pm. The procedure took about an hour and a half. I don't remember any of it...thank goodness. It's been a whirlwind, but I'm doing ok. I have my bad moments...I don't have time for Bad days. I know that everything happens for a reason and that I did nothing wrong. It still hurts and I'm struggling to make peace with all of this. Work and of course Avarey have been amazing distractions. John has also been more than helpful, I love you babe and thank you for being an amazing daddy and partner. I decided to put this in the blog because I'm not ready to talk about it with anyone. I figured by writing it down...it would take a few bricks off my chest. And I feel a little lighter right now actually. I'm not great at keeping secrets this particular secret has been a heavy burden on me.

On a lighter note...

Avarey is doing AMAZING!!! She crawling everywhere and pulling her self up on anything and everything!! She loves music ...especially country...and LOVES to DANCE!!! She just started clapping this week it's too stinking cute! We are learning to blow kisses...and she already waves at everyone...hi and Bye! Her first word may have been dada but her favorite one is mama!! Not gonna lie...it makes me very happy..hehehe! Seriously Av says mama all day long and will even crawl over to me and pull herself up holding onto my legs!! She is getting so BIG! She'll be 9 months on the 23rd! Where did the time go?? I have a feeling she'll be walking by Christmas...she has no fear and is almost able to stand up on her own!! John and I are so in love with her, she really is such a blessing in our lives!

Rainforest Cafe

Saturday John, Av and I drove down to Ontario for a little shopping and lunch at Ontario Mills! We ended up having lunch at Rainforest Cafe ( my favorite is sill the one in Downtown Disney, Anaheim). We bought the Safari Club membership, which allows for a free appetizer every time you go at any Rainforest Cafe...and since Av's loved it so much we'll be going more often!

7 Month Check-up

So again here we are another month older (where does the time go?) and another Doctor visit. Av is a month behind in her visits due to insurance changes and what not but really It's only two weeks...no BIGGIE! We visited the Dr. Thursday Morning October 1st! It's kinda funny that all the nurses know her...and love her. With the car accident and her being sick she's been to the doctor more than a few times in the past few months. She's actually doing much better with the doctor...until dun dun dun...the nurse comes in with the shots. That's not much fun for Av or mommy. She had 4 shots in total including the flu shot, ( Now I wasn't sure I was gonna have her get it until I was actually in the office and another baby was all sickly with the flu. I felt so bad for the baby and just couldn't chance Av getting sick like that too.) Overall it was a good visit besides Avy J. being out of it for the rest of the day.

. Av is now weighing in at...19.3 lbs

• She is 2'2 feet tall
• eats just about anything I give her with is either homemade or Gerber Organic!
• Her Fav is Sweet Potatoes and Bananas
• She is sleeping through the night (except recently this cold nonsense has thrown her off)
• She Loves standing and walking around the house ALL THE TIME
• Mr. Beep Beep has really come in handy (walker)
• Still loves her Paci...though I'm trying to not give it to her as much
• Rocking on her knee's but not crawling
• Still turns Bright RED when she coughs, Sneezes, is pooping or is mad!
• Learning how to wave BYE and Hi! Almost there! She is really trying...it's too cute!
• likes to share her paci with mommy and daddy and thinks it's the funniest thing
• Gets around by rolling...and I mean GETS around! She will be across the room in a heart beat!
• Loves little snacks...in her teether and loves little puffy's!
• Is now in a big girl car seat...still facing backward of course
• Loves to kiss herself in the mirror as demonstrated in the picture posted
• Loves to blow bubbles with her mouth
• Loves play dates with other babies..
• Loves Animals...and I mean L O V E S! Tyson the Doggy is her favorite
• Her hair in starting to grow and is getting more blonde by the second!
• Still has the most beautiful blue eye's
• Goes to bed between 7:30 -8 EVERY NIGHT!
• Rubs her eyes when sleepy
• Will put herself to be at nap time with just her paci
• Takes two naps a day 1st one around 11:30- 12 and second one in the late afternoon
• Wakes up between 7:30- 8 ish every morning!
• Is a little love bug and mommy's favoritist person in the whole wide world!!

ps. Doesn't she just look so cute in this little baby gown?! I almost died when they asked me to put it on her! lol

Bubble Girl

So Avarey has been taking baths in the BIG bath tub for a few weeks now...but I'm lagging on posts so...here are some pictures of her "1st" BUBBLE BATH! Avarey loves the BIG bath tub and so do I! It's so much easier to sit on my LITTLE bath tub stool than to stand while she takes her bath...and she will just about stay all day in that tub if I let her! Enjoy!
