D-Day

THE DREADED DOCTOR This Morning little Miss Avarey Jordan had a doctor's Apt. I'm not gonna lie...I was a nervous wreck! Her last appointment left both of us in tears.
I hate immunizations.
I hate seeing her cry.
I dread Doctor days. Though I do really like her pediatrician!

So anyways, The first part of the appointment went great! My little Honey Bunny is a chunker!
~She Weighs...

14lbs and 10.9 oz~ 90 percentile for her age which is about 15 weeks!

~She's also...

24 inches long~50 percentile for her age!

Av's enjoyed the first half, she was all smiles for her doctor and her mama, until...
The Nurse came in with her basket of shots! Yes I said that right. She had a basket of shots...I think my face went a little white. Av's had to get three shots and an oral medication. The oral part went fine, Avarey Jordan will put anything in her mouth...little chunker. Than the nurse went to town on my poor little Av's legs. Two shot's in one and One in the other. Tears flowed from her Big Blue eye's and a loud scream/cry came out of her precious mouth. I held it together. I had to be brave for Av....but let me tell you I wanted to cry right along with her!

~ Memorial Weekend 2009~

John drove out to Oceanside Harbor to meet up with Vince. After they did a little surfing Av, Auntie Manda and I decided to meet him out there and have lunch at Joe's Crab Shack! WE also did a little walk along the beach. Here are a few pictures we took along the way!!!

Erica and Kyle's wedding

John and I left Avarey with my parents and attended Erica and Kyle's wedding on Sunday May 17th, and it was an amazing Day!

I got to spend the day with Lauren, one of my good friends from College! It was great to catch up, I didn't realize how much I missed her!

Misa was all dressed up...I have never seen this girl in a dress! She looked beautiful!

John and the bride...Oh Erica looked so Beautiful...she was definitely a blushing bride!

The first dance! I couldn't be happier that one of my favorite people in the world married such a great man! I love them both and wish nothing but the best for them!!!

My First Mother's Day

Was Amazing!!!
John got up with Avarey and let me sleep in! He gave her a bath and got her all dressed before I woke up. My sister made me breakfast and I got two beautiful necklaces, one from Av and John and one from my Parents! Of course my favorite gift was the precious card Avarey picked out for me ;-) It made me cry! Overall it was an amazing day with all the people I love most!

This day was a little crazy and eventful...with getting ourselves ready, getting manda ready, almost crying having to leave Av for the first time to go to Erica's party, driving to Fullerton to meet up with everyone, driving out to Sgt. Pepper's in Long Beach, not getting home till almost 3 in the morning...it was crazy and though I had a good time...I missed my baby!

While daddy was gone...

Well it was a busy weekend and with no John it was also a little tiring! John went to Phoenix to visit friends and to drop off Roxy (his Boxer). Roxy is definitely going to get a ton of attention living with Jeff. So we didn't miss daddy too much Av and I kept ourselves busy. Friday we visited Uncle Michael with my mom. Michael is doing great...and he just loves Avarey! He is sooo cute with her. She loves him as well, she just stares and smiles up at him. I'm so happy that Michael and Avarey get quality time, it really is funny to watch Michael play with her. He does however want her to be a Tom-Boy...I am under strict orders to dress her in sporty clothes next time we visit...Michael is not a fan of the bows! lol

Saturday. Avarey and I went to Oceanside to watch Auntie Manda cheer at the Beach. It was a beautiful day. We kept Av in the shade while I tried to get a little sun....instead I got a little burnt!

This outfit looked soooo cute on her...countless people stopped to look at the "cute baby!"

Overall it was a good weekend...we just missed daddy!
